GENESEE COUNTY ONBASE SOLUTIONS
Genesee County went live with Onbase, a paperless modality, in February 2009. Onbase is a secure enterprise content management system. Document retention and delivering work to employees through workflow management is at the heart of this system. Our Onbase solution increased efficiencies in almost every department by reducing redundancy. We currently have over 170 end users tasking daily. End users receive their work through individual queues. Onbase works hand in hand with each departments main application. Examples of departments 3rd party applications are: Michigan Child Support Enforcement System, "MICSES" and Judicial Information System " JIS". In the near future, the Prosecuting Attorney's Civil/Criminal Division, Human Resources and Purchasing will join Onbase.
