TRADITIONAL PENSION OPTIONS

You must sign your retirement application within a minimum of 30 days prior to the date you intend to retire and a maximum of 90 days prior to the date you wish to retire.

Items To Bring to Your Scheduled Appointment:

  • Copy of member's driver's license or birth certificate;
  • Copy of beneficiary(s) driver's license or birth certificate;
  • Beneficiary(s) social security number(s);
  • Voided check or deposit slip if direct deposit is desired.

Members are welcome and encouraged to bring their spouse, family members or independent financial planner to their retirement session.  The member will be provided an updated estimate of retirement benefits and educated on the available pension options during the session.

 

       

YOUR PENSION OPTION CANNOT BE CHANGED AFTER YOU RETIRE.

Insurance and/or other fringe benefits upon retirement are not the financial responsibility of this pension plan. These benefits are paid for by your employer and are covered under the union contract or personnel policy of your employer.
