Court Records
7th Circuit Court

Records for the 7th Circuit Court are maintained by the Legal Division of the Genesee County Clerk's Office. 

Circuit Court records include:

Criminal matters that are a felony
Domestic matters that include divorce, support, paternity, custody, visitation
Civil matters include law suits requesting relief over $25,000
Emancipation of a Minor
Personal Protection Orders
Name Changes

Due to restricted storage facilities on site, the following records are maintained at an off-site storage facility:

Domestic Files  --  All Years up to and Including 1999

Criminal Files  --  All Years up to and including 2001

Civil Files  --  All Years up to and including 2007

If review of documents or copies of documents are required from the above listed court files, the record(s) must be ordered three days in advance of coming to our office.  Files can be ordered by calling (810) 257-3220, press 9 for a Legal Division Clerk.  If you do not know the case number for the file you wish to view, you can find a case number by searching alphabetically at the link below.
